EMCY Hospital Portal

Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 July 2026

EMCY is not a replacement for government emergency services. If you are able to, always call 108 (ambulance) or 112 (national emergency number) in a life-threatening situation. EMCY works alongside — not instead of — these services.

What EMCY is

EMCY is a coordination service: it shares your emergency details with nearby partner hospitals, lets a hospital accept your case, and keeps both sides informed until you arrive. EMCY itself does not provide medical care, ambulances, or medical advice.

No medical advice

Information shown in the app (including triage questions and guidance) is for coordination only and is not a diagnosis or medical advice. Decisions about your care are made by you and by qualified medical professionals.

No guarantee of response

We work to connect you with a hospital as fast as possible, but we cannot guarantee that a hospital will be available, accept your case, or respond within any particular time. Network coverage, hospital capacity, and other factors outside our control affect outcomes.

Eligibility and your account

Acceptable use

Never trigger a false emergency. False alerts divert hospital attention from real patients and may be unlawful. We may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service, and we may report abuse to authorities.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EMCY is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for outcomes arising from hospital availability, medical treatment, network failures, or events outside our reasonable control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves and will change the date above; significant changes will be notified in the app. Continuing to use EMCY after a change means you accept the updated terms.
